Last week I sent an e-mail to Beatriz Milhazes - a painter in Brazil that I found here a few months ago. Her work really inspired me to go back to how I was using color and flat surfaces. Even though her work is not graphic design formatted, it’s still influenced by it, so I inquired if she would be so kind as to look at some of my art pieces before I print them for my galleries coming up. I just received a response and she said I could send her some images and she would give me her feelings on them. I’m jazzed. Beatriz was even featured at the Biennale recently - I believe the same year I was there, and has also done an architectural work for MOMA. OK that is all.
